The interchangeable face shield is transparent and covers the entire face, so that eyes, nose and mouth are protected. The shield is made of APET foil and offers a clear vision.
The face shield can be used to protect against moisture coming towards the wearer’s face.

Sedentary professions
For a mainly sedentary profession, we advise you to use the standard face shield. This is a shorter shield that reaches below the chin. However, while being seated, it does not touch your upper body.
These face shields have a length of 190 mm. The foil has a thickness of 0.43 mm.
Risks against which the face shield offers protection
The face shield offers the wearer protection against moisture that comes towards his/her face. This moisture can be caused by things such as:
- Coughing of the person with whom the face shield wearer is talking, the person who is being cared for and/or treated
- Splashes that are released during the treatment/contact
Health and safety requirements
Since this face shield can also be used in healthcare, skilful cleaning with alcohol is the most important health and safety requirement for the face shield.
Technical specifications
Technical specifications regarding the selection of materials are:
- Headband
Antibacterial PP (polypropylene) was chosen as this material is easy to clean using alcohol. PP retains its shape and properties within a temperature range of 0°C to +110°C. - Shield
PET (Polyethylene terephthalate) was chosen as this material offers excellent transparency and is easy to clean using alcohol. This material has good rigidity which ensures that it stays firmly tucked into the headband. PET retains its shape and properties within a temperature range of -40°C to +65°C. It cannot be excluded that minor scratching may occur during the production phase. - Elastic closure
PARA rubber was chosen as this material is easy to clean using soap and retains great elasticity. This keeps the headband in place while the face shield is being used. PARA rubber retains its shape and properties within a temperature range of -10°C to +70°C.
All shields are easily attachable to the headband through the use of a click system. The shields can be used multiple times, partly because they are easy to clean. The frequency of replacing the shield is sector-sensitive and depends on personal preference.
Headband
The headband is made of antibacterial polypropylene (PP). This prevents bacteria from attaching to the headband. The headband is sprayed instead of printed. It is therefore more flexible in material and also causes it to have a softer feel. Polypropylene (PP) retains its shape and properties within a temperature range from 0 to 110℃.
Elastic closure
The elastic closure, which is made out of rubber, is sturdy and flexible and ensures that each face shield can almost always be worn to size. The closure strip is also more hygienic than, for example, fabric closures.
